Biography
The Auxiliary Services program is responsible for providing access to effective communication for deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind individuals in the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ State Courts, including for probation and court-ordered treatment, and for state administrative proceedings; for rural areas of the state; and for Commission staff within the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Department of Human Services. In addition, Auxiliary Services oversees the credentialing of court/legal interpreters, provides sign language interpreting training opportunities, and conducts outreach.
Prior to joining the Commission in 2018, Trish worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Department of Law, served as an appellate clerk at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Court of Appeals and the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Supreme Court, and worked in public health research. Trish holds a bachelor and master’s degrees in psychology and a Juris Doctor degree.
